The President shall preside at all regularly scheduled BOD meetings, The President shall perform all acts required or authorized by the Constitution and shall have such other powers and duties as may be assigned by the Chapter Board of Directors. The President of the Chapter shall act as Chairperson of the Board of Directors. The chapter President will be responsible for the strategic direction of the chapter for the year of service and shall lead the development of position goals for each officer. The Vice President of Administration and Programs will preside in the President’s absence.

Biography 
Pete is currently working at Southwest Research Institute as a Manager. He began his work there after retiring from the US Air Force. He brings 10 years of project management experience to the Alamo Chapter. Throughout his tenure as a PM, he managed a wide range of projects supporting various government and commercial clients world-wide.

He was a master instructor while assigned to the Air Education Training Command. During his assignments as an Instructor, Pete also taught Air Force Maintenance Quality Control Procedures.

Pete earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Newman University, Wichita, Kansas. He also received an MBA from Oklahoma City University and an MS in Software Engineering from SMU. His primary goal is to continue to provide opportunities for PMPs to maintain their qualification and improve and add to educational opportunities for members to earn their PMP.
