Communication, Difficult Conversations, Sales: These are all negotiated conversations. People negotiate every day. If they learn the right skills and strategies, they will be able to come out ahead in every situation. Mediator and Negotiation Coach, Alice Shikina, will go over various negotiation techniques to get you on the right track for the win-win solution.

Presentation Objectives

Participants will:

1. Learn various negotiation techniques

2. Self-assess on their own listening skills

3. Understand how to control the emotions in the room

Alice Shikina

Alice Shikina is an international speaker, negotiator and mediator. She is also the author of Negotiating with Your Kids. Alice mediates divorces, landlord/tenant disputes, workplace conflicts, conservatorships and probates. She also offers negotiation coaching courses for small groups. Alice uses her theatre background as an actress and director in her mediations. She is the Vice President of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, on the board of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators and also on the ADR Executive Committee for Alameda County Bar Association.
