SPEAKER BIO:
Bertie is a Project Management Professional and Scrum Enthusiast. She has over 20 years of professional experience in enterprise-level project management with emphasis in large enterprise projects focusing on web design/development/publishing, web services (API’s), community development, sales enablement, mobile applications, mobile broadband technologies, and radio. She is Highly skilled in leading diverse cross-functional, internal and customer teams to successfully deliver projects and programs on time and within budget. She has a proven ability to work well with all types of individuals.
Bertie is adept at working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Development Managers, Program Managers, Executive leadership and is often viewed as a "team member" by her development teams. She enjoys coaching her teams and peers through the agile development life cycle, often focusing teams on defining better user stories, identifying improvements through adapting and inspecting, defining definitions of ready and definition of done, and highlighting her team’s accomplishments.
Currently Bertie is a senior PM and Scrum Master at iHeartMedia helping in the company’s agile transformation and holds the following certifications: CSP® SM, CSP® PO, SAFe ® SA
