Student Chapter Membership Renewal Extension Q & A
PMI Chapters can offer students in their chapter an extension after their graduation date to renew at their current PMI and chapter student membership rate. The savings will be available to current PMI student members up for renewal and who are also members of chapters.
All Chapters can participate.
The Chapter has to “sponsor” the eligible graduating students by sending an email to the student that contains a chapter-specific URL. The student must use this URL to renew at the student rate.
Only graduating students in a Chapter are eligible to participate in the program. The Student Member would get the student discount price for chapter membership where applicable and must renew the Chapter membership at the same time as their PMI membership for the offer to be valid.
Chapters will obtain the unique URL by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The URL will be unique to each chapter and can be reused.
The offer can be used only ONCE in the graduating student’s lifetime.
Yes, there is a sample email in Microsoft Word provided on the marketing portal for Chapters to send to prospective students with instructions on how to use the URL to renew.
The student will need to enter their Member ID in the screen below and click NEXT. This will take them to Store for the routine checkout process.
